IBF Campbelltown Residential Facility is located in the heart of the Italian Community. The home has 39 high care places, which are comprised of a number of single and twin share rooms.

The home has recently been redeveloped and has beautiful atrium areas and courtyards. These contain water features and beautiful plants, which can be enjoyed by the residents, families, friends and visitors.

As a small home within the Campbelltown area, many of the residents and their families have been friends and acquaintances for many years, and as families and friends are welcome to join our residents for lunch or dinner, this can become a regular social occasion. The resident's committee support new families in the home like atmosphere, and work with the management to assist and suggest ways in which the resident's lifestyles can be continuously improved. At the Campbelltown home residents receive high level nursing care, medication management, assistance with activities of daily living, continence support, wound care and allied health care such as physiotherapy, podiatry, occupational therapy and speech therapy. We also have specially trained staff who are experts in the care of people suffering from dementia. All residents entering the home are individually assessed in liaison with the resident/and or their family member and a specific care and social plan is designed to meet their special needs.

Residents at the home enjoy a wide variety of social programs, and the home has held the bowling challenge cup from the Norwood ten pin bowling club on numerous occasions. Residents attend functions and lunches at the Italian clubs and associations such as the Marche Club, Fogular Furlan and the San Giorgio club. In addition special feast and Saints days are celebrated as are all the other special days such as Mother's and Father's days. The home has a chapel area where the residents and families can attend Rosary and Mass or just sit quietly. A strong connection is in place with the local churches and our resident's religious beliefs are respected and supported.

As the home is part of the Italian Benevolent Foundation many additional options and benefits are available for residents and families. Special functions held at the Italian Village at St. Agnes are attended by Campbelltown residents and our Community clients. The Carer's Support and Education groups, which are supported by Alzheimer's SA, are also a service available to families.
